Endobiogenic Medicine and its use in herbal practice

Endobiogenic Medicine is an integrative whole systems medical model created by French doctor Christian Duraffourd and developed with doctor Jean-Claude Lapraz over a period of 40 years. It is based on developmental and systems biology and physiology, and evaluates the internal life of the body (the “terrain”) through the use of a particular physical examination and semiology, medical history and an innovative blood test called the Biology of Function.

Endobiogenic Medicine

Is an integrative whole systems medical model created by French doctor Christian Duraffourd and developed with doctor Jean-Claude Lapraz over a period of 40 years. It is based on developmental and systems biology and physiology, and evaluates the internal life of the body (the “terrain”) through the use of a particular physical examination and semiology, medical history and an innovative blood test called the Biology of Function.

Endobiogenic medicine’s systemic and integrative perspective enables practitioners to gain a more global, deep and complex understanding of “dis-ease” processes and how to restore optimal balance to the system as a whole. Though conventional treatments are included when individual cases require them, treatment strategies in Endobiogenic Medicine are based primarily on the use of botanical medicines and nutritional protocols, since they are the most suited for encouraging and stimulating the body to undertake its own healing processes.

The workshop seeks to present an introduction to Endobiogenic Medicine and its founding principles, including a presentation of the Biology of Functions blood test. I will also be introducing microspheres SDs, an innovative Galenic form of herbal medicine.
